What is a Domain and Web Hosting?
There are 2 core components to getting your website online: A Domain Name & Web Hosting. The domain is the address of where your website is located. Web hosting is the place where all the files of your website and emails live. It is like the home of your website where it actually lives (but on the internet).
When someone enters your domain name into a browser, the domain name is translated into the IP address of the server your website files are located on. The server then sends those files back to the users’ browsers so they can access your website.
How long is my plan active for and is there a minimum term?
Your plan remains active until you decide to cancel it, and there is no minimum commitment. Upon cancellation, your website and email accounts will be deactivated at the end of the current billing cycle. You will have a 1-month grace period to reactivate your plan without any data loss. If not reactivated within this period, all files will be permanently deleted from our servers.
Do you offer a website migration service?
Yes! We can migrate your website to our service at a small cost. Contact us for more details.
What is the difference between Managed Hosting and Regular Hosting?
